The company also was accused of not giving Davis the proper progressive disciplinary steps before his firing on Sept. 12, 2019.

Hill called police May 31 to report the injuries he is accused of causing either that day or May 30. Mullen died June 4 at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. Hill was “on the run” but recently was arrested, which is the reason he was not arraigned earlier, Kevin Day, assistant county prosecutor, said.

Ex-recorder withdraws conviction appeal | News, Sports, Jobs

YOUNGSTOWN Former Columbiana County recorder Theresa Bosel, who appealed her 30 days of house arrest and other sanctions from a fatal car crash, has now withdrawn the appeal. On Thursday, three judges with the 7th District Court of Appeals approved Bosel’s Feb. 5 request to withdraw the appeal. Bosel’s new attorney, Michael J. Goldberg of Cleveland, said by telephone the appeal was withdrawn because “there’s nothing really there to appeal.” He said it’s likely that after a call to adult parole authority officials, Bosel can be fitted for the electronic monitoring equipment necessary to serve that part of her sentence.
