NORRISTOWNÂ â Montgomery County leaders authorized a series of contracts totaling approximately $6.19 million last week during a bimonthly commissioners meeting.
Of the $6,194,094.39 allocated across several departments, a bulk of the contracts dealt with the Montgomery County Office of Health and Human Services.
Nearly $4 million was designated to the department for âcase management services.â

Specifically, $3,999,948 was split between two providers for three-year terms. $1,191,033 was authorized to Creative Health Services Inc., of Pottstown, which covered the countyâs western region, while $2,808,915 was given to Gaudenzia Inc., of Norristown, covering the countyâs eastern and central regions.
Officials previously issued an online request for proposals for a âdrug and alcohol outpatient and case management and recovery support services,â which was viewed by 32 companies, and netted five bids.
