7 injured in Montgomery shooting

Gunfire in Montgomery Monday left seven people wounded.
Police received notice about 10:30 p.m. that multiple people had shown up to a hospital with gunshot wounds. Capt. Saba Coleman said authorities learned the shooting happened in the 3800 block of South Court Street. That location is near the Big Cat package store.
No additional details were released, but Coleman said it appeared to be an isolated event that started between two people.
The victims are four adult females, two adult males and one juvenile male. None of the injuries are life-threatening.
No arrests have yet been announced.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Montgomery Fire/Rescue officials are working to determine what led to a deadly house fire Monday night.
According to Assistant Fire Chief S. L. Cooper, around 10:51 p.m., firefighters were called to a home on Gibson Street near Lower Wetumpka Road. When they arrived, firefighters saw smoke and flames coming from the roof and front of the house.
While searching the home, firefighters found four people who were pronounced dead.
