A small dog, also on board, was not injured. Facebook Share Authorities are crediting good Samaritans on snowmobiles in helping them locate and rescue three people and a dog after a small plane crash Tuesday evening near Moosehill Road in Leicester. Local police and fire responded to a report of an airplane crash in the woods off Moosehill Road around 5 p.m. on Tuesday. Authorities said nearby residents with snowmobiles helped bring two of the passengers to waiting ambulances as the crash site wasn’t close to a roadway. A third passenger was taken out of the woods on a stokes basket, police said.
