Johnson & Johnson’s one-dose vaccine returned to the large-scale vaccination clinic in Worcester this week.
The Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be offered at the site along with the Pfizer two-dose option, according to Saint Vincent Hospital, which operates the vaccination clinic.
While each vaccine is available at the site, the choice must be made when people are booking their appointment. Appointments on the state website will dictate which vaccine will be provided during certain appointment times.
The vaccines arrived from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s distribution. The supply currently isn’t voluminous, as Saint Vincent Hospital predicts about one or two more clinics will use the remaining single-shot doses.
