New Bedford I-195 Offramp Will Be Temporarily Closed on Thursday
NEW BEDFORD This coming Thursday, a busy offramp on Interstate 195 in New Bedford will be closed for a significant portion of the day.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation says it will be implementing a temporary daytime closure of the ramp from I-195 westbound to Route 18 southbound in New Bedford. The closure will take place Thursday, April 22 from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
The purpose of the closure is to conduct milling and paving operations.
MassDOT suggests the following detour:
– Vehicles traveling on I-195 westbound will continue west on I-195 and take exit 24A (old exit 13A)
