A Berea man was arrested after discharging a firearm outside his apartment.
Victor Davis, 33, Berea, was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment and second-degree promoting contraband after he was arrested by Berea police on Saturday.
According to a citation, an officer was dispatched in reference to a shots fired complaint. When the officer arrived on the scene, they searched the area along with other officers.
A witness who resided in the same apartment complex said the shots fired came from one of the apartment residences.
An officer attempted to contact the apartment multiple times and heard what the officer thought was a female saying, âYou had to fire it.â

Nicholas Bryant, 28, Berea, was charged with fourth-degree assault (dating violence with minor injury) after he was arrested by Berea police on Sunday.
According to a citation, an officer was dispatched in reference to a domestic complaint. The caller allegedly stated she had been assaulted by her husband who was intoxicated. When the officer arrived on the scene they were able to make contact with residents and enter. Once inside, the officer observed blood on the floor and the door jam busted.
The citation stated the officer saw Bryant on the couch and interviewed him.
Bryant told the officer he attempted to leave the residence, but the victim took his keys and phone. The officer observed an injury on Bryantâs right hand. Bryant said he sustained the injury after punching the microwave glass out. The officer then observed several traces of blood on the floor and wall.
