Dwayne K. Miller, 46, was charged May 20 with unlawful possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, a Class X felony; unlawful possession of weapons by a felon, a Class 2 felony; and resisting a peace officer causing injury, a Class 4 felony. The case was presented by the Madison County Sheriff’s Department. According to court documents, on May 18 Miller allegedly was found to be in possession of between 15-100 grams of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, and a knife. It was noted he has a 2019 conviction for aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer in Madison County, making him ineligible to possess weapons.

Nicholes B. Brown, 18, of Granite City, was charged May 19 with residential burglary, a Class 1 felony; stalking, a Class 4 felony; and public indecency, a Class A misdemeanor. The charges were presented by the Granite City Police Department. According to court documents, on April 30 through May 17 Brown allegedly “followed, monitored, observed or surveiled” a 25-year-old Granite City woman. On May 17 he allegedly broke into her residence and exposed himself to her. Bail was set at $150,000.

Seth M. Daech, 36, of the 1600 block of Clawson Street, Alton, was charged May 19 with two counts of aggravated driving while under the influence, both Class 2 felonies. The case were presented separately by the Alton and Wood River police departments. According to court documents, on Aug. 12 Daech, who court supervision for related crimes out of Madison County in 2005 and a conviction for similar crimes in 2006 out of Madison County, allegedly was found by Alton police to be under the influence of a drug or combination of drugs. On Feb. 27 he was found to be driving while under the influence of a drug or combination of drugs.

Brown, 24, of Venice, was charged May 14 with unlawful possession of weapons by a felon, and unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, both Class 3 felonies. The case was presented by the Venice Police Department. According to court documents, on May 13 Brown allegedly was found to be in possession of more than 30 grams of cannabis with intent to deliver, and a Taurus 9 mm handgun. Brown has a prior conviction for possession with intent to deliver out of Madison County in 2019, making him ineligible to possess weapons.
