Graduation rates at Tigard and Tualatin high schools dip slightly, while Sherwood sees a small increase.
While graduation rates at Tigard and Tualatin high schools dipped slightly, Sherwood saw a small increase in students who graduated in four years, according to recently released statistics by the Oregon Department of Education.
Those cohort graduation rates follow students who began high school four years earlier. Students who graduated on time in 2019-20 began high school in the 2016-17 school year.
In Sherwood, the 2019-20 adjusted cohort four-year graduation rate for all students was almost neck and neck with 2018-19 rates at 97.62%, compared to 97.54% the previous year. The rate for 2017-18 was 97.42%.
