The University of Manchester has announced the introduction of a new part-time Master’s programme for eligible working professionals in the Middle East. This is the latest addition to the regional portfolio of part-time Master’s programmes the university already offers two MBA options, in addition to specialist MSc degrees in Educational Leadership in Practice, and Real Estate.
The new programme will start in the Middle East in September 2021 and registration is already open to prospective candidates, with the additional benefit of special launch rates on tuition fees.
(MENAFN - WPR) The University of Manchesterâs business school â Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS) â has risen 15 places to be ranked 30th in the world in the Financial Times (FT) Global MBA Ranking 2021. The annual ranking of the worldâs best full-time MBAs also places Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS) 4th in the UK and 10th in Europe. The University of Manchester Middle East Centre in Dubai has supported more than 2,800 part-time students from across the region and graduated more than 1,700 from the AMBS Global Part-time MBA programme, since opening in 2006.
In the 2021 rankings, AMBS improved in 10 of the 20 categories assessed by the Financial Times. This includes a 20-place increase in the career progress of AMBSâ alumni, with the School being ranked 11th worldwide in this category, calculated according to changes in the level of seniority and size of company alumni are working in now, compared to before undertaking their MBA. Continuity and quality of student experience is the focus of the University of Manchester’s Middle East Centre as the team continues to enroll, support and engage with current and new students, and alumni across the region. University life in the region continues while operating within the protocols in place to ensure our community stays safe and well.
This means that hybrid is a strong theme as the intensive programme of events, student workshops, and student inductions moves to a new hybrid format with the option to join online or in person at the physical venue. The centre has already gained a lot of experience over recent months, hosting around 200 events and reaching around 10,000 students, alumni and candidates.
