ALLENDALE TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – Four persons were wounded in a shooting at an Allendale apartment complex overnight (Apr. 10, 2021).
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Captain Mark Bennett, deputies and first responders were dispatched to the Enclave Apartments off of Becker Drive shortly after 12 Midnight on a report of shots fired. “Upon arrival, deputies found three victims outside an apartment,” Bennett said in a department statement. “All three had suffered gunshot wounds. The victims were transported to (an unnamed) Grand Rapids hospital by Life EMS. A fourth gunshot victim had left the scene prior to (the) deputies arrival, and that victim (came to an unnamed) Grand Rapids hospital for treatment.

ALLENDALE TOWNSHIP, MI - A shooting at an Allendale apartment complex near Grand Valley State University early Saturday morning injured four people, police said.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office responded to Enclave Apartments near 48th Avenue and Lake Michigan Drive around 12:15 a.m. Saturday, April 10 on a report of gunfire.
Deputies found three victims suffering from gunshot wounds who were transported to a Grand Rapids hospital, according to the sheriff’s office. A fourth victim had left the scene before police arrived and sought treatment at an area hospital.

ALLENDALE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) Four people have been wounded one critically in an early morning shooting at an apartment complex in western Michigan.
Deputies responding to a report of shots fired in Allendale Township found three victims outside an apartment about 12:15 a.m. Saturday, the Ottawa County sheriff’s office said.
They were taken to a hospital by paramedics. A fourth victim had already left the shooting scene for a hospital.
The shooting occurred near Grand Valley State University and a campus safety alert was issued. None of the victims are current students at the school which is west of Grand Rapids.
