NEW DELHI: The BJP may be winning the assembly and local bodies elections and even the bypolls held in several states spread across the country in the recent months but it has also been losing its allies or may be failing to keep them in good humour.
The latest ally to show signs of disenchantment with the BJP is the AIADMK, the party ruling in Tamil Nadu.
AIADMK launched its campaign on Sunday for the assembly election to be held around April-May next year. In his speech, party Rajya Sabha MP and deputy coordinator KP Munusamy gave a short shrift to the BJP when he said AIADMK will not share power with any national party if it wins the election.

The year also saw Union Home Minister Amit Shah personally taking charge to improve Delhi’s healthcare facilities and curb the spread of coronavirus – not once but twice – when the national capital saw an alarming rise in positive cases.

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party s (BJP) Kailash Vijayvargiya and political strategist Prashant Kishor on Monday (December 21, 2020) were engaged in a war of words over Twitter, with the latter saying that he will quit the microblogging and social networking service if the saffron party crosses the double-digit mark in the West Bengal Assembly elections in 2021. Kishor s statement comes following the prediction by the Union Home Minister Amit Shah who had said, When results of Vidhan Sabha election will be declared, BJP will form the government with more than 200 seats.
Kishor who managed Narendra Modi s campaign in 2014 Lok Sabha elections wrote on Twitter, For all the hype AMPLIFIED by a section of supportive media, in reality, BJP will struggle to CROSS DOUBLE DIGITS in West Bengal.
