MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. â The Martin County Health will begin administering the Pfizer vaccine for the first time at the Treasure Coast Square Mall in Jensen Beach.
The new opportunity signals the latest effort from the county to get more students vaccinated on the Treasure Coast.
Martin County Health Department Spokesperson, Renay Rouse said the goal is to help reduce those numbers and help protect families ahead of the summer travel season.

Tuesday is the last day the health department will provide first doses of the Moderna vaccine at the Treasure Coast Square Mall in Jensen Beach.
To help serve more residents, the site is offering extended hours and walk-in service.
The clinic will open Tuesday from 10 a.m to 11 and then again from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

FAIRMONT, Minn. (KEYC) Medical professionals have 72 hours from the time of arrival to get the coronavirus vaccines into the arms of southern Minnesota residents.
At the Fairmont clinic, they have had a surplus of vaccines and have shifted primarily to second doses.
The surplus of first round vaccines is due to a number of reasons.
One reason is that the majority of people who have shown interest in getting the vaccine in the area have already received their first dose and may have been included in one of the earlier groups eligible to receive the vaccine.
