Too many drawbacks to field project
To the Editor:
This is a copy of a letter sent to the Martha’s Vineyard Commission and the Oak Bluffs planning board on Feb. 4.
Thanks for the chance to share my opinion about the effort to install a synthetic playing field at MVRHS.

To the Editor:
Would someone please explain why this magnificent shade tree near the Net Result is not being protected by the Martha’s Vineyard Commission? This tree is not on the bike path and it would be just inside of a widened sidewalk and provide benefit to everyone. Is that not their purpose?
