Two weekend Opportunities To Get The Covid 19 Vaccination In Marshall County

The first will be Sunday, April 18th, at the Wellness with Nature Hike at Henry Horton State Park. Between 9 and 10:30 a.m. the vaccinations will be offered free to anyone 16 years of age and older. Please enter at the Wilhoute Mill Trailhead parking lot at 4209 Nashville Hwy in Chapel Hill.
The second opportunity will be Saturday, April 24th from 8 to 11:30 a.m. at Preston Hopkins Park. Anyone 16 years of age or older is welcome to get the Covid-19 vaccination with no appointment. Enter the Lewisburg Recreation Center at 1551 Mooresville Highway in Lewisburg. If you prefer to make an appointment or to regiser you can call 359-1551 or go to Covid19-dot-tn-dot-gov.

MOUNDSVILLE Two deaths linked to COVID-19 were reported out of Marshall County, both hospitalized at the time of their death.
Two men, one 89-years-old and one 53-years-old, reportedly died between Saturday and Monday night, when the Marshall County Health Department released its daily announcement.
A third,a 53-year-old woman, reportedly died Tuesday.
Marshall County reported 16 new positive cases and three probable cases on Monday, and an additional four new cases, and three probable cases Tuesday.
The county health department referred to the state Department of Health and Human Services website for its latest totals, which as of Tuesday morning, were 2,396 confirmed cases, 848 probable cases and 74 related deaths since the pandemic began.
