BEAVER DAM, Wis. â A Beaver Dam man was accidentally shot in the chest on Sunday morning.
According to a news release, the 41-year-old man had a single gunshot wound to the upper chest and was conscious when authorities arrived.
The release said the man was taken to Marshfield Medical Center and later flown by MedFlight to UW Hospital in Madison.
The Dodge County Sheriffâs Office said there is no threat to the community.
The shooting remains under investigation.
