SPRINGFIELD Steady growth in the aerospace sector over the past six years has prompted a local aerospace parts manufacturer to expand its footprint in Effingham County.
AeroDynamic Aviation Inc., a supplier of subassembly interior parts for a regional luxury aircraft manufacturer, has announced the acquisition of a 17-acre site on Ga. Hwy 21 in Springfield to quadruple its footprint from 9,000 to 40,000 square feet. This expansion will allow AeroDynamic to increase production and add new machines and capabilities to its product line and should be complete by the summer of 2021.
