NORFOLK, Va.â Hundreds of people are registering for their vaccine and getting their shot the same day â and you can, too.
The FEMA-led Community Vaccination Center at Military Circle Mall has the capacity to vaccinate 3,000 people a day, seven days a week.
Right now, theyâre falling short of that goal.
The 20-minute drive from Suffolk to Norfolk meant Davian Clifton could get his 16-year-old son registered and vaccinated Wednesday.
âWhen I pulled up, I didnât know what to expect. I thought it was going to be chaos, to be honest with you, but itâs smooth sailing. It worked out perfectly,â explained Clifton. âIn and out - literally 20 minutes. The 15-minute wait after the shot was the longest part of the whole process,â he explained.
