40 cases reviewed in District Quality Control Board meeting FAISALABAD: The District Quality Control Board meeting was held here on Sunday. The moot was held in the chair of Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali. The medical store inspection reports of drug inspectors were reviewed in the meeting. Total 40 cases against medical stores found involved in different violations of Drug Act were examined during the meeting and hearing of pleas of medical store owners were made in this regard. After hearing, the meeting decided to refer the cases against 20 medical stores to the Drug Court. Moreover, owners of 14 medical stores were given warning and five cases were adjourned till next meeting due to not appearing of medical stores owners and one FIR was registered for serious violation of Drug Act.

Cases against eight medical stores owners referred to Drug Court National March 8, 2021 FAISALABAD: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Muhammad Ali Sunday chaired the meeting of District Quality Control Board and reviewed medical stores’ inspection reports of drug inspectors. The meeting examined 30 cases that were constituted against owners of medical stores over violations of Drug Act. The meeting decided to refer cases against eight medical store owners to the Drug Court and register cases against the owner of three medical stores. Moreover, owners of some medical stores were given warnings and 11 cases were adjourned till next meeting. The DC also reviewed the performance of the drug inspectors and directed them for accelerating the drive against sale and manufacturing of spurious drugs. 142,873 kids vaccinated on 9th day of typhoid vaccination campaign National February 13, 2021 FAISALABAD: As many as 142,873 children vaccinated on the ninth day of ongoing typhoid vaccination campaign in the urban areas of the district. It was told during the daily review meeting for typhoid vaccination campaign chaired by Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali. ADCG Khurram Pervaiz, Health CEO Dr Mushtaq Sipra, District Health Officer Dr Bilal Ahmed, UNICEF representative Habib Leghari and other officials of the Health Department were also present. The meeting was informed that total 1,375,582 children had been vaccinated so far in the campaign. The DC said that every effort would be made to vaccinate 100pc of the children as per micro plan.
