Many Local Sask Groups and Organizations Receiving Money from Quarterly Charitable Gaming Grant Program

By Ryan Young Jul 12, 2021 | 7:10 PM The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority is lending 2.1 million dollars in financial support for over seven-hundred groups and organizations across the province, through its Charitable Gaming Grant Program. Yorkton and the surrounding area will see almost 179-thousand dollars in grants, to lend support to many local organizations, from minor sports programs to service clubs. Among the groups and organizations in Yorkton that will receive funding, are the Yorkton Kinsmen and Kinettes, Yorkton Kalyna Dance School, the Yorkton Canoe and Kayak Club, and Paws and Claws Animal Rescue. Among the groups in Melville receiving grants, are the SJHL’s Melville Millionaires, the Leaps and Bounds Gymnastics Club, and St. Henry’s Catholic Church.
