WOBURN Authorities have not made any final ruling on the cause of last month s death of a 16-year-old Hopkinton girl and are investigating all possibilities, District Attorney Marian Ryan said Tuesday afternoon during a news conference.
In addressing online rumors that Mikayla Miller’s death is being covered up or ignored, Ryan flatly said those allegations are false.
“There is no truth that we have reached a final conclusion,” she said.
A spokeswoman for Ryan’s office had said after Miller’s body was found on West Main Street at 7:45 a.m. April 18 that the death was not considered suspicious. A group has organized a rally and candlelight vigil scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the Boston Marathon starting line, an event the group says is designed to “demand” answers from Ryan.
