CHATTOGRAM, April 28, 2021 (BSS)- Chattogram district administration today distributed 610 packets of gift items (relief) given by Prime Minister to 610 distressed artistes and indigent construction workers in the city amid the lockdown to prevent the rise of coronavirus infection.
Badiul Alam, deputy director (Local Government) of the Deputy Commissionerâs Office, distributed the gifts at the auditorium of Khastgir Government Girlsâ High School and District Shilpakala Academy this noon.
Speaking on the occasion, Badiul Alam said, âPeople who became unemployed during the lockdown in the Corona situation as well as the insolvent artistes and indigent construction workers will not be deprived of government relief.â
