Homicide victim identified January 25 2021
UPDATE: Police have identified the man who was shot and killed in Northeast Portland on Jan. 12.
The Police Police Bureau has identified the man who was shot and killed on Jan. 12 in Northeast Portland as Miguel Angel Armenta-Hernandez.
The police and Multnomah County Medical Examiner s Office had previously asked the public to help identify him, releasing a sketch of his face and tattoos.
According to the police, the investigation began at 4:15 p.m. Jan. 12 when North Precinct officers responded to a shots fired call in the 4800 block of Northeast 100th Avenue. When they arrived, officers found a person who was dead.

Investigators have identified the victim killed in a Parkrose neighborhood shooting earlier this month as a 41-year-old Portland man, police said Monday.
Officers discovered the body of Miguel Angel Armenta-Hernandez in the 4800 block of Northeast 100th Avenue early in the morning on Jan. 12, officials said.
The medical examiner determined Armenta-Hernandez had died of a gunshot wound.
