HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM) - Multiple law enforcement agencies made three arrests and seized multiple weapons in Hattiesburg Tuesday on a variety of felony charges.
According to Hattiesburg Police Department spokesperson Ryan Moore, three men were arrested by members of the Metro Narcotics Task Force, HPD and Mississippi Department of Corrections, in the 100 block of Ellis Drive, as part of an ongoing Metro Narcotics investigation.

JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - A man lost his appeal of a robbery and kidnapping conviction in Montgomery County.
The Mississippi Court of Appeals handed down the decision in the case of Christopher Golden.
Witnesses identified Golden, 44, as the man who robbed the Magnolia Lodge on Sept. 10, 2016, then kidnapped the clerk and forced them to drive him to another location.
A Montgomery County jury convicted Golden of the charges in 2019, and the judge sentenced him as a habitual offender to a total of 60 years in prison.
Golden appealed, claiming the judge was wrong not to grant a jury instruction about possible mistaken identity and an alibi he was never at the hotel.
