BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) Calhoun County police have arrested a man in connection to a carjacking that took place in Springfield on December 18th, 2020.
Deputies arrested a 23-year-old Battle Creek male wanted on a parole detainer from the Michigan Department of Corrections.
Investigators were led to the suspect while executing a search warrant on Thursday at the 100 Block of Waubascon Road in Battle Creek seeking evidence related to the crime.
According to police, the carjacking victim allegedly met the suspect at a gas station to buy a gaming console. The carjacker then held the victim at gunpoint and told him to drive to a different parking lot where he stole multiple items before telling the victim to walk away.
