BURT TOWNSHIP Two Greenville residents received minor injuries in a rollover accident on southbound I-75 in Burt Township Monday morning during the snow storm the area was experiencing that day.
Cheboygan County Sheriff Dale Clarmont said deputies with his department were dispatched around 11:06 a.m. on Feb. 8 to southbound I-75 near the 318 mile marker for the rollover accident. When the deputy arrived on scene, he found a 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser on its side in the median, between the lanes of travel. There was an unrelated vehicle in the ditch, blocking a portion of I-75 south, said Clarmont. The driver attempted to slow down and lost control.

Seven teenagers, including a 17 year old from Afton, were involved in a one vehicle accident in Bagley Township, in Otsego County, in the early morning hours of Jan. 10.Troopers from the Michigan State Police Gaylord Post were dispatched to the single vehicle crash around 2:56 a.m. Sunday morning. Two of the vehicle’s occupants suffered serious injuries and were transported to Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw for treatment. The other five occupants were treated locally for minor injuries, police said.
