Reynolds vows to send extra vaccine to Osage during Friday visit

As Gov. Kim Reynolds toured the mass vaccination clinic in Osage on Friday, cases of COVID-19 were surging in Mitchell County. Reynolds vowed relief is on the way as nearly 1,200 doses are scheduled to arrive in Osage next week.  Gov. Reynolds was in Osage to tour the mass vaccination clinic. Jason W. Selby Press News “First of all, the organization and the availability to do a mass vaccination clinic is incredible in rural Iowa,” Reynolds said. “It’s organized, it’s great. Lots of volunteers and the community really making it happen. It’s so encouraging. You can tell people are very happy.”

Battle to bring Dr Mark Haganman back continues

They can be seen on many streets in town. On the road to Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage, Bring Haganman Back signs can be seen in some yards. Jason W. Selby, Mitchell County Press News On Nov. 4, Mitchell County Regional Health Center officially relieved Dr. Mark Haganman of duty. This left many of his patients outraged, leading to a grassroots campaign to reinstate the 2015 Physician of the Year.
