City: COVID totals approach 12,000; 159th death reported

The Midland Health Department on Wednesday reported another 174 unconfirmed cases of COVID-19 inside Midland County, bringing the total number of cases (confirmed and unconfirmed) during the pandemic to 11,877.
The city also reported the 159th COVID-19 related death – a man in his 60s who died on Wednesday. The man had underlying conditions, according to the city, and was being treated at Midland Memorial Hospital. His death was the 14th reported this month.
