By Liz Holbrook High speed chase (Midwest Communications) PINE RIVER, WI (WSAU) — A Rhinelander man who ran from law enforcement is back in custody. According to a release from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, the department received notice on Tuesday afternoon of a 40-year-old Rhinelander man that had fled from Vilas County Sheriff’s Deputies. A warrant had been issued for the man after his bail was revoked in a pending felony case in Vilas County. The man, who is facing two charges of sexual assault of a child, removed his electronic monitoring device by cutting off an ankle bracelet and throwing it away in Rhinelander.
