South Bend Cubs announce 2021 promotional schedule By: Maura Johnson SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The South Bend Cubs have released their 2021 promotional schedule, with celebrations including Fan Appreciation Night, Military Appreciation Night, and plenty of giveaways. With the pandemic canceling celebrations last year, the Cubs will make up for lost time by celebrating their 2019 Midwest League Championship with a number of giveaways throughout the season. Select fans can win a replica championship ring, a replica Midwest League Trophy, a championship team canvas print, and more at games this summer. This season’s bobblehead will feature 2016 Chicago Cubs World Series MVP Ben Zobrist, who played in three rehab games in South Bend in 2019. The first 1,000 fans can win his bobblehead at the August 18 game.

South Bend Cubs single game tickets go on sale April 14 SOUTH BEND, Ind. The South Bend Cubs announced single game tickets for May and June will go on sale April 14 at noon. When purchasing tickets, fans will have the opportunity to choose which section they want to sit, but individual rows and seats will not be assigned. Brewers announce Matt Erickson stays put at Wisconsin Timber Rattlers manager

By Jim Scott Jan 29, 2021 1:51 PM GRAND CHUTE, WI – The Milwaukee Brewers have announced that Matt Erickson will return as the manager of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers for the 2021 season.   Strength and Conditioning Specialist Connor McCarthy is the only member of the staff that was announced for the 2020 season to return with Erickson.  Former Timber Rattler and Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Hiram Burgos is the new Pitching Coach.  Hitting coach Nick Stanley and Athletic Trainer Benny Arroyo are each scheduled to join Erickson’s staff this season. Erickson, a native of Appleton, has been Wisconsin’s manager since 2011.  The Rattlers have been to the playoffs three times under Erickson’s direction – 2012, 2014, and 2016.  Wisconsin won the 2012 Midwest League Championship.  Erickson’s regular season record with the Rattlers is 604-644 (.484).  He was to manage the Timber Rattlers for his tenth consecutive season in 2020 bu
