WILLMAR A 31-year-old man turned himself in on a felony drug warrant Wednesday night at the Law Enforcement Center in Willmar.

UPDATE 2 p.m.: The Minnesota Department of Public Safety has released more details on an incident at the Miracle Mile strip mall parking lot on Wednesday morning.
According to a news release from the DPS, an investigation is ongoing after a shooting occurred during a commercial vehicle traffic stop in the Miracle Mile strip mall parking lot.
The release said three state troopers stopped a semitruck for a vehicle inspection at about 6:45 a.m. and attempted to detain the driver for failing to produce identification at about 8:30 a.m. Preliminary investigation shows the driver shot themself. The driver was then taken to Mayo Clinic St. Marys with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead.

Elbridge, N.Y. A 26-year-old woman and a 2-year-old reported missing from Minnesota were found near Syracuse Tuesday, according to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety.
The Minnesota state police initially asked for the public’s help finding Amina Mohamed, 26, and Natesha Mohamed, 2, on Tuesday morning.
Amina and Natesha Mohamed, who are sisters, were found a little bit later near Syracuse.
Troopers used the location from Amina Mohamed’s cell phone to find her in a 2013 gold Chevrolet Equinox with Minnesota plates on the Thruway, according to New York State Police.
