Under a new plan being put in place in Minnesota, you won t be required to purchase an electric vehicle (EV), BUT nearly 7% of all vehicles SOLD in Minnesota will need to be zero emission. This all came about after the creation of an powerful group called the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. The agency is under the direction of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. Sweeping has both an economic and environmental impact on communities and neighborhoods, but city planners and homeowner associations can struggle with how to best provide street cleaning service while holding the line on rising maintenance costs.
In a region of the country with so many lakes and rivers, it is no surprise that water quality and water use are critical issues. In addition to domestic uses, Wisconsin and Minnesota residents want clean water for recreation, wildlife habitat, and industry.Â
Water is used for cooking and drinking every day, and knowing that the source of that water is good and safe is important, though most people probably donât give it much thought.Â
