A battery store worker who was sacked for allegedly masturbating at work has lost his discrimination case despite his claim he was just scratching a rash .
Daniel Whipps was working alone at Battery Store Australia s Townsville warehouse in October 2018 when CCTV caught him with his shorts partly pulled down, one hand holding a mobile phone, and the other down his pants.
He was later fired but sued for discrimination in the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission demanding lost wages and compensation - which found any employee would have been treated the same way.
