Miami Police investigating the El Mula Banquet Hall rap concert are asking for the public’s help.
The Department released a 30-second surveillance clip that shows the three gunmen exit the same white Nissan Pathfinder SUV fleeing the scene. The killers camped out in the parking lot for 40 minutes waiting for the concert to end, where local rappers AMBG Spitta and Foepack performed.
The incident left two people dead and another 25 injured.
“During the concert, patrons were standing outside the business when a white SUV pulled up with three subjects, stepped out of the vehicle with assault rifles and handguns, and began shooting indiscriminately into the crowd of which we believe is a targeted act of gun violence,” Miami-Dade Police Director Freddy Ramirez said. This is a despicable act of gun violence a cowardly act. This type of gun violence has to stop. Every weekend it is the same thing. This is targeted. This is definitely not random.”
Two days after a mass shooting in Miami-Dade County, there were still more than a dozen people hospitalized. They were at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Aventura, Kendall Regional, and Memorial Regional. Their families are waiting for updates.
Surveillance video obtained Tuesday by Local 10 News shows people running for cover outside El Mula banquet hall in northwest Miami-Dade after three gunmen pulled up to the venue and opened fire.
