Both contracted the disease and were rushed to Milton Keynes University Hospital in the same ambulance when their oxygen levels fell dangerously low. Ms Kerr and Mr O Brien became so ill that medical staff scrambled to organise a wedding before it was too late. When Mr O Brien s condition got even worse, it was decided he should be transferred to the intensive care unit (ICU).

One man sustained a broken nose and cuts to the head. He received treatment at Milton Keynes University Hospital and has since been discharged. Two 18-year-old men and two 19-year-old men, all from Milton Keynes, have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder. They have all been released on bail. Investigating officer Detective Constable Greg Hughes, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “I am keen to hear from anyone who recognises these individuals as I believe they have information that will prove vital to this investigation. “I also believe that a number of people captured footage of this incident on their mobile phone. Please, if you have recorded any of this fight, please get in touch with us. The footage that you have could help us identify those responsible and stop a concerning incident like this from happening again.
