Milwaukee police are investigating three separate shooting scenes that left three people dead Friday afternoon.
MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee police responded to three shootings in just over an hour on Friday afternoon, April 23.
Three people were killed and two others were injured in the shootings. They all happened within a roughly two-mile radius.
An otherwise beautiful afternoon was interrupted by gunshots. Amber Bennett heard them near 8th and McKinley around 3:45 p.m. Actually, I was in the house when I laid down with my child, and all of a sudden I just heard gunshots ring out and everybody screaming, Bennett said.

Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at approximately 11:19 p.m. Friday night on the 500 block of E. Burleigh Street.
Officers in a marked squad observed a vehicle driving extremely reckless and at excessive speeds.
Police attempted to conduct a traffic stop but the vehicle continued traveling at excessive speeds and a pursuit ensued.
The driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner s Office confirms the occupants of the vehicle, a 22-year-old man and a 20-year-old man, died from their injuries sustained in the crash.

Two men died from injuries they suffered in a single-vehicle car crash in Milwaukee s Riverwest neighborhood late Friday night.
Police said a vehicle an officer saw driving recklessly and at excessive speeds crashed into a tree in the 500 block of East Burleigh Street.
The crash occurred about 11:30 p.m. Friday. Police in a news release early Saturday said the occupants of the vehicle had life-threatening injuries. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner s Office said later Saturday morning that two men died from injuries in the crash.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff s Office says the shooting happened at the basketball court around 4:51 p.m.
The victim was previously identified as an 18-year-old man.

Police seek help in search for missing 59-year-old Milwaukee woman

MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee police are asking for the public s help in their search for 59-year-old Valeria Malone who was last seen on Thursday morning, April 22.
Officials say Malone went missing around 11 a.m. Thursday from the area of 22nd and Hopkins in Milwaukee.
Malone is described as a female, African American, 5 5 tall, weighing 140 pounds, with brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black jacket with black fur, a yellow t-shirt, blue jeans, and white shoes.
