Itâs a magnificent addition to our city. The geese have been a problem â they are aggressive and messy. No doubt they are a challenge.
Another challenge is the mess left behind by inconsiderate canine owners. This is totally avoidable. If you donât want to pick up the mess left on the Riverwalk by your canine, please leave your pet at home.

Tax hike
I was flabbergasted when I opened my property tax bill. School taxes alone went up almost $450 â a 53% increase over last year! Itâs because of the school tax referendum passed last June â a tax hike I was against! But, 60 percent of the population voted for it, and now weâre all paying the price. Whatâs even worse is that the voters were misled. The school corporation fooled the public into thinking that the tax increase would be peanuts. The school corporation deserves four Pinocchios.
