27 more test positive for COVID-19 in Rangpur division

RANGPUR, April 30, 2021 (BSS) – Twenty-seven more people were diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID-19) positive today in Rangpur division where the infection rate continues showing now a rising trend.
Health officials said 27 new cases were reported after diagnosing 188 samples of four districts in the division at the COVID-19 Laboratory at Rangpur Medical College (RpMC) today at the daily infection rate of 14.36 percent.
“The 27 new patients include 14 from Rangpur, four from Gaibandha, six from Kurigram and three from Lalmonirhat districts,” Principal of RpMC Professor Dr. AKM Nurunnobi Lyzu told BSS at 7:50 pm.
On the other hand, no collected samples were tested at the other COVID-19 Laboratory at M Abdur Rahim Medical College (MARMC) in Dinajpur today.

RANGPUR, April 23, 2021 (BSS) – Sixty more people were diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID-19) positive today in Rangpur division where the infection rate continues showing a quickly rising trend in recent weeks.
Health officials said 60 new cases were reported after diagnosing 376 samples of all eight districts in the division at the two COVID-19 laboratories today at the daily infection rate of 15.96 percent.
Among the 60 new patients diagnosed today, 28 were reported positive after diagnosing 188 samples at the COVID-19 Laboratory at Rangpur Medical College (RpMC) in Rangpur city.
“The 28 new patients include 20 from Rangpur, four from Gaibandha, two from Kurigram and one each from Lalmonirhat and Dinajpur districts,” Principal of RpMC Professor Dr. AKM Nurunnobi Lyzu said.
