CMCO: Sabah to continue allowing inter-district travel according to zones

The Sabah state government has decided to continue to allow inter-district travel according to six zones, although the state yesterday changed the status from Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) to Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO).
State Local Government and Housing Minister Masidi Manjun said as such, Sabahans will only be allowed to travel between districts in zones that have been determined.

The MCO, CMCO, RMCO as above take effect from 29 April to 17 May 2021, except for Sarawak which takes place from 27 April to 15 May 2021.
Data from the Health Ministry (MOH) projected that Malaysia could record as many as 5,000 cases daily by the end of May if SOPs are not adhered to.
As for the SOP for the upcoming Hari Raya celebrations (14 & 15 May), the National Security Council (MKN) is still working out the details, though Ismail Sabri assures that it will be announced soon.
He also denied claims that the government will be enforcing an interdistrict travel ban five-days prior and after the upcoming Aidilfitri celebration.

Kuantan district police chief ACP Mohamad Noor Yusof Ali said compounds amounting to between RM1,500 and RM2,000 were issued to each of them, including seven women, after an inspection at 11.55 pm there yesterday found, among others, they did not practise physical distancing at the restaurant.
“Two of the customers were also fined for not scanning their entry using the MySejahtera application with one of them when asked, showed us backdated registration which was on April 21.
