FPCCI asks PM to resolve gas crisis
July 3, 2021
KARACHI: Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) President Mian Nasser Hyatt Maggo on Friday expressed his profound concern over continuing gas crisis and incessant gas supply shortages hampering industrial production and fulfilment of export orders.
Maggo stressed bringing all the stakeholders and players on one page, and requested PM Imran Khan to chair a meeting to help resolve their differences and contradictions – once and for all. He said that FPCCI was keenly but sorrowfully observing difference of opinion among various governmental departments and stakeholders over resolution of the current gas crisis. This divergence of view and lack of direction would cause further delays in resumption of normal gas supplies, he added.
