Mian Iftikhar wants son’s killers brought to justice

NOWSHERA: Awami National Party (ANP) leader Mian Iftikhar Hussain on Tuesday said he did not have any personal enmity and it was the responsibility of the police to bring the killers of his son to justice.
Talking to reporters, he said that his son Mian Rashid Hussain was martyred in 2010, but the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police could not make any progress in the case.
He said he was the spokesperson for the ANP government back in 2010 and helped promote the narrative of the state to fight terrorism.
The ANP leader said that the militants killed his son and an FIR was registered. He said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police had arrested various suspects in the murder case of his son.

NOWSHERA: Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) spokesman Mian Iftikhar Hussain said on Friday Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was unnerved by the opposition public meetings and had now unleashed a propaganda campaign against opponents.
“The ministers are busy in giving out statements and addressing frequent press conferences as they fear the ouster of the PTI government,” he said while talking to the media here at the Nowshera Press Club.
The senior politician, who is also central secretary-general of the Awami National Party (ANP), said a series of the public meetings arranged by the PDM in various big cities of the country had left the PTI government scared.
