In the movie Finding Nemo, a school of fish snapped into a formation that resembled a much larger fish. Photographer James Crombie caught that sort of thing happening in real life; however, instead of a flock of fish, he managed to catch a flock of starlings over Lough Ennell in County Westmeath, Ireland in a truly magical sight.
James Crombie was recently named photographer of the year by the Press Photographers Association of Ireland. James’s main forte is sports photography, but with extra time over the past year, given the pandemic and various sports events being canceled, he has turned some of his attention to nature photography too.

After World War II, the United States was left with a lot of airfields and the pilot population grew from 34,000 in 1939 to more than 400,000 by 1946. The Civil Aeronautics Administration proposed to build residential airparks throughout the country to put in use the deactivated military strips and to accommodate the retired war pilots. This is how fly-in communities formed, with all the residents having a shared interest in aviation.
One of these residential airparks is the Cameron Park Airport in California. A TikTok user whose handle is @thesoulfamily filmed a video showing this unusual neighborhood where everyone has an airplane which they keep in an hangar like a car in a garage.

I’m a Polish social media manager based in Berlin. I have been drawing ever since I can remember. I started with comics as a child, at school, and then at high school. Then came studies, work, moving abroad and I stopped with my passion. And then came the depression. I have been in therapy for two years with all its ups and downs. My best friend has also been encouraging me to start drawing again to avoid negative thoughts. A few months ago, I had a crappy day where I couldn t even get up and get motivated. I then had an impulse to go for a walk. When I was walking, I saw a school supply store, I went in, bought a drawing pad and watercolors, and I started drawing comics to better represent how I feel and to deal with my depression and anxiety.
