اسلام آباد (بلال عباسی) نیب نے جعلی ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹیز کیس میںایک ارب 8 کروڑ 29 لاکھ روپے سے زائد کی پلی بارگین منظور کرلی، گلشن رحمان زون فور کے نام پر دھوکہ دہی سے رقم لی گئی تھی۔
ذرائع کے مطابق جعلی ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹیز کے نام پر لوٹ مار کے معاملے پر نیب راولپنڈی کو بڑی کامیابی مل گئی، میسرزایکوریٹ بلڈرز اینڈ کنسٹرکٹرز پرائیویٹ لمیٹڈ کی پلی بارگین منظور کرلی گئی، ملزمان میں جنید اصغر ،بازید اصغر،محمد نعیم خان ،محمد فاروق انصاری شامل ہیں۔ نیب راولپنڈی کے تفتیشی افسر نے درخواست احتساب عدالت میں جمع

Going after mafias, settling disputes tough challenges for new IG

PESHAWAR: Apart from going after criminals and terrorists to maintain law and order in the province, the new inspector general of police (IGP) is facing more challenges after laying hands on the mafias, especially those involved in drug business and land grabbing.
The new police chief, Moazzam Jah Ansari, is facing the challenge to stop or at least reduce the number of people being killed in hundreds of blood feuds across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The new KP Police chief assumed the charge of his office over a week ago, replacing Sanaullah Abbasi. He has already served as IGP Balochistan as well as commandant of the paramilitary Frontier Constabulary. He is familiar with the local challenges as he has been stationed in Peshawar for the last three years as Commandant FC.

GILGIT: Awareness walks, seminars and clean-up campaigns marked the World Environment Day across Gilgit-Baltistan on Saturday.
The GB forest, wildlife and environment department in collaboration with the local communities, national and international NGOs and educational institutions organised various programmes across the region.
The parks, wildlife and forest department organised a rally, starting from the Forest and Wildlife Complex in Jutial and ending at Bab-i-Gilgit.
The participants said this year’s theme of the day was ‘ecosystem restoration’. They said GB people were among the world’s most vulnerable communities due to the climate change impact. They said sensitive and fragile environment of the region needed to be protected from environmental degradation.
