Romain Grosjean is taking on the NTT IndyCar Series for the first time after spending the past decade in Formula 1.
Grosjean is looking forward to being competitive again after not having reached the podium in F1 since 2015.
Grosjean will be driving the road course and street circuits for Dale Coyne Racing with RWR.

That happened at a recent test at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California.

March 4 (Reuters) - Brazilian Pietro Fittipaldi will return to IndyCar this season with Dale Coyne Racing where he will partner former Haas Formula One team mate Romain Grosjean, the team said on Thursday.
Fittipaldi, grandson of two-time Formula 1 Champion and two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Emerson Fittipaldi, will only drive oval races for Dale Coyne with Grosjean taking over the seat for street and road courses.
“I’m very happy to be racing the ovals this season,” said Fittipaldi in a statement. “I’m especially excited for the Indianapolis 500.
“It’s been a dream of mine since I was a kid to race in the Indy 500.

Six of the first eight races of the season will air on NBC, including the season-opening Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama presented by AmFirst on Sunday, April 18 at Barber Motorsports Park.
The 17-race season, which will be exclusively presented across NBC Sports, also features the inaugural Music City Grand Prix in Nashville, Tennessee, on Sunday, Aug. 8 on NBCSN.

Laguna Testing To Bring Teams Closer to Start of 2021 Season

The calendar has turned to March, heightening the sense of urgency as four NTT INDYCAR SERIES teams prepare for the start of the season next month through testing today at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.
Eight drivers are scheduled to participate in the private test on the 11-turn, 2.258-mile road course in Monterey, California, that features the iconic “Corkscrew” turn complex. Among the notable athletes scheduled to turn laps are Formula One veteran Romain Grosjean and multi-time Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge winners Helio Castroneves and Juan Pablo Montoya, each with their new teams.
