SPOKANE, Wash. For those currently eligible to get a COVID-19 vaccine but are unable to make an appointment, the Washington State Department of Health said there is a waiting lot at the Spokane Arena, allowing more people to receive leftover doses.
The Department of Health says the waiting lot opens 45 minutes before closing time and if there are any leftover vaccine doses by the end of the day, people can get one.
Even though workers will administer any leftover doses, the DOH website said that people should remember that they will not be guaranteed a dose unless they have an appointment.
