Chuggers have been banned from a Staffordshire town centre after complaints from shoppers. Bosses at Stafford Borough Council have introduced ‘Public Spaces Protection Orders’ (PSPOs) into Stafford after shoppers and town centre workers complained of being harassed by groups who are trying to get people to sign up to direct debits for national charities.
