KUWAIT CITY, May 6: MP Hassan Jawhar asked Minister of Defense Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali and to Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Nazaha Enhancement Abdullah Al-Rumi about the rumors spread on social media and other media platforms that the Amiri Diwan sent a letter to the Judicial Committee at the Ministries Court stating HH the late Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah was aware of the suspicious remittances mentioned in the Kuwait Army Fund lawsuit involving former Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak and other senior officials.

KUWAIT CITY, May 5: MP Osama Al- Shaheen forwarded queries to His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid about the rationale behind the decision issued on May 3, 2021 to prevent citizens from travelling abroad unless they are vaccinated against covid-19 even if their destination does not impose vaccination as an entry condition. He asked if any of the expatriate workers in the private sector were exempted from the provisions defined by the Higher Committee for addressing coronavirus crisis regarding their entry to Kuwait during the crisis.
He wants to know if the fourth batch of foreign medical teams got vaccinated before arriving in Kuwait, if the expatriate workers at the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs were vaccinated before entering the country, and if these workers were exempted from the travel regulations because the two ministries need their services. KUWAIT CITY, May 3: National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim has confirmed receiving the grilling motions of MP Shuaib Al-Muwaizri against Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Ahmad Nasser Al-Muhammad, and Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic and Investment Affairs Khalifa Hamada. The two grilling motions are about the violation of Article 99 of the Constitution and Article 121 of the National Assembly Decree. Al-Ghanim added that he informed the concerned ministers about the grilling motions, which will be included in the agenda of the upcoming session. On the other hand, the Family and Women Affairs Committee discussed Sunday the causes and solutions to family violence, especially violence against women.

KUWAIT CITY, April 21: The Parliamentary Priorities Committee on Tuesday agreed to include in the agenda of the upcoming National Assembly session the bill on adding KD600 million to the budgets of various institutions and ministries for the reward of workers on the frontline of the fight against coronavirus, says Chairman of the committee MP Hesham Al-Saleh. Al-Saleh expects approval of the bill in the upcoming session of the Assembly and payment of the reward to deserving employees before Eid Al-Fitr.
