Staff and volunteers of the Alzheimer Society of Hastings-Prince Edward are asking for the public’s support this month as they raise funds for local programs.
The society has many services for people with dementia and memory loss and for their caregivers.

Staff and volunteers of the Alzheimer Society of Hastings-Prince Edward are asking for the public’s support this month as they raise funds for local programs.
The society has many services for people with dementia and memory loss and for their caregivers.

Belleville musicians Andy Forgie and Mark Rashotte will perform a free online concert Friday afternoon for people living with dementia and for their caregivers.
The Music for Memories concert is a presentation of the Alzheimer Society of Hastings-Prince Edward.

Rashotte and Forgie’s musical partnership goes back to 1968, when they were in Grade 7. They’ve been part of numerous local bands, including Photograph, Creed and the jet-setting Beatles cover band All You Need Is Love. The band has performed in Europe, the United States and Canada, including in a reconstruction of The Beatles’ signature venue, The Cavern Club, in Liverpool.
