Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has been eliminated from the 265-pound title chase after failing to come to terms on a heavyweight price tag with promotion president Dana White.
But don’t expect that to keep him from achieving greatness. Related

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) champion Conor McGregor has revealed his desire to purchase Manchester United.
McGregor has made his name and fortune fighting in the octagon in recent years, where he attained superstardom by becoming a UFC featherweight and lightweight double-champion.
The Irishman, who is also a successful entrepreneur outside of the arena, now appears to be expanding his spheres of interest after declaring his desire to purchase a football club, with European giants Celtic and Manchester United on his radar.
A conversation came up regarding Celtic first to be honest. To acquire shares from Dermot Desmond. I am certainly interested in acquiring a sports team at some stage!

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight Diego Sanchez may have trouble finding a place to continue his mixed martial arts (MMA) career after getting released by Dana White and Co. a few weeks back, thanks in part to his age, his deterioration as a fighter, and of course, his personal baggage.
Or “parasite,” depending on who you ask. Related
Bellator MMA President Scott Coker recently told MMA Fighting that he wouldn’t be adding Sanchez to his current 170-pound lineup. Keep in mind this is the same promoter who signed DaDa 5000, so that should tell you how badly Coker and Co. want to steer clear of “The Nightmare’s” backstage drama.

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, believes he’s earned a payday commensurate with his accomplishments in mixed martial arts (MMA), which include 17 main events and a chest full of “box office gold.”
Not bad for a guy who was once banned from UFC headliners.
But despite his success inside the Octagon, Jones won’t be eligible to receive Conor McGregor-type money. Simply because “Bones” hasn’t been able to transform the industry like “Notorious,” who is widely-considered the second-most popular fighter in UFC history.
Derrick Lewis insists Jon Jones ‘out of the picture,’ will KO Francis Ngannou ‘in the first exchange’

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Jon Jones wants “Deontay Wilder money” to fight reigning heavyweight titleholder Francis Ngannou, but since No. 2 ranked contender Derrick Lewis is willing to do it for far less, “Bones” is now “out of the picture” when it comes to 265-pound title shots.
And that folks, is why there will never be a fighters’ union.
Since Lewis already holds a victory over Ngannou from their UFC 226 staring contest back in late 2018, which set the Texan back “two fights,” you can expect a redemptive first-round knockout when they reconnect later this summer.
