(WSIL) Two local nonprofits are teaming up to transition veterans back to civilian life. It s woods, and a wooded area. They re going to have an equestrian program, which is what we want to help with.
Angie Jackson, Executive Director of Cassidy s Cause Therapeutic Riding Academy, says they ve been looking for a way to serve veterans with their equestrian therapy nonprofit.
Coincidentally, Brian Gibson, founder of Project Diehard, was looking to bring equine therapy to his veteran rehabilitation facility, Forward Operating Base Rush. It s therapy, it s a purpose, it s a living thing to care about.
